About Us
Mira Loma Alumni and Friends is a non-profit organization created to enable Mira Loma Alumni to support Mira Loma High School after graduation.
MLAF has elected to directly support MLHS is through two means: the first is to support the Alumni community in their efforts to hold reunions, communicate with fellow alumni and faculty (both active and retired) and stay connected to the great things happening every year at Mira Loma High School. The Second is to help ensure that MLHS has a continuously graduating student body. This second goal allows MLAF to support the school through many methods of donating goods, money, resources, time and various on-going philanthropies that directly help the students. While this organization does not offer scholarships to graduating students, MLAF knows that there are many academic and scholastic programs, tests, events and competitions that the school does not always have the funding to support. Participation in these events help not only add to the long history of achievements of MLHS but also add to the college applications of students. It is this that may help with their admittance into their first college choice. MLAF hopes to help with classroom and school needs that fall through the cracks. While support from MLAF may vary from year to year, the aim is to directly help the students attending our alma mater.
